FAQ

  • What do I need to bring to a class?
Yourself! Everything you need will be supplied (though we do suggest you wear clothes you are not to worried about). Where sessions include canapes, cocktails, snacks etc there may be an option to purchase additional drinks or food but there is no obligation to do so
  • My child is booked on - what do I do while they are there?
We make sure there is an area available to have coffee etc. You may wish to paint alongside your child, assist them or just chill. It is entirely up to you
  • I'm interested in having a business event....
Do get in touch. Art and crafts are very good for wellbeing and de-stressing. We can offer small events all the way up to corporate level. We pride ourselves on our ability to work with you to provide exactly what you need
  • I haven't painted since primary school; can I come?
The classes are for everyone whether a complete beginner or a regular painter. You will get as much help and advice as you either want or need. It is a really supportive atmosphere and it is our aim that you love the experience and surprise yourself with what you can do. The main thing is to have lots of fun!
  • Can I come on my own?
Of course! It truly is one of those things where you can come on your own without feeling uncomfortable. Many people do. Try it! You will be made welcome
  • What do I wear?
Please don't wear your best clothes! We provide aprons for you to use and suggest you pull your sleeves up to be on the safe side. We use acrylic paints generally and these do not wash out well when they are dry. Wet wipes are provided and can generally remove acrylic paint before it dries but better safe than sorry!
  • How do I organise a kids party?
Just get in touch! Generally it is a minimum of six participants and can include parents as well. Decide whether you wish to have it at home, on line, or in a venue you choose. For 'in person' parties there needs to be tables and chairs and I would suggest a wipeable floor. We bring table protectors and everything else to create a painting or craft masterpiece and will work with you for how you wish to run it. Maria is DBS checked
  • How do I book a scheduled session?
Events are found via the events tab on this website and are also detailed on Facebook and Eventbrite. Do please press 'follow' on both of those to be notified of future events. You can also request to go on the mailing list whereby we let you know as new sessions come out.
  • Do you do on-line sessions?
Yes we do! You can have a virtual party via Zoom, and we also have an extensive back catalogue of recorded sessions which can be found on our sister site here should you wish to paint at a time to suit yourself.
